The Practice
Opened in September 2021 this is an independent practice set up by 3x (youngish!) females: A Vet, a Nurse and a Practice Manager with the sole purpose to do things differently. The diary is organised so the vets don’t generally do more than 4x 15-minute consults without a break.
They get a paid lunch hour and a minimum of 1 hour’s admin time each day to make phone calls etc. The day is split into morning consults, operation time of 3 hours and the afternoon consults.
There is a very relaxed and upbeat atmosphere, and it is important that their new team member has the ability to remain clam under pressure so they can maintain the chilled working environment that is so highly valued by everyone who works there.
The team really support each other with everyone mucking in whatever the job is that needs doing.
The practice has lots of laughter and fun whilst working hard and they are really proud to say that everyone loves working there.
They are an environmentally conscious practice and strive to be as environmentally friendly as possible and are members of Surfers Against Sewage and are signed up to Ecologi to offset their employees carbon footprint. They also plant a tree for every pet that they sadly have to say goodbye to.
The practice is located in a beautiful building which is not only a great place for our clients to visit but also an amazing space to work in with lots of natural light, even in theatre.
They strongly believe the level of service they offer our clients far outweighs any other practice. In the 12 months they have been open they have already built amazing relationships with their clients which is reflected in the reviews that you can see online.
The relaxed atmosphere in the practice is often commented on and has been designed to feel different to other vet practices.
They have a large, light reception area with a separate cat waiting area and it’s not unusual for our clients to have a tea of coffee whilst they are here if they arrive early or whilst they wait for bloods to be taken, for example. If a client can’t collect their pets’ meds one of our team will drop them round.
????This is a rare opportunity to be involved in an independent practice surrounded by a motivated supportive team helping you to do the work you are trained to do or get back to loving being a vet again!
