VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Glossop, Derbyshire. This independent practice is looking for an experienced, Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2 years plus qualified Vet, looking to join an expanding team, and ever-increasing case load.

The Role:
As a small animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will need to be able and comfortable with a mixture of consultations and surgical procedures of general practice.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 37.5 hours per week, with 1 inpatient night per week, 1 in 5 Saturdays and weekend in patient duties. No OOH phones. There will be occasional sole charge, along side an RVN from time to time.

The practices’ aim is to provide the highest standards of customer service and care for its owners and their pets. They offer a friendly and professional service, at fair prices with a personal touch.
The team consists of 7 Vets, 8 RVNs, 1 SVN, 3 ACAs and 8 Receptionists across its two-practice set up, lots of experience to learn from and ask for advice.
The practice has excellent facilities including digital x ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Ultrasonic dental equipment.

- RCVS registered and qualified
