Our client is looking for a 2+ year experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing practice based in Wembley. The full-time role has a half-day off every Wednesday and is alternate Saturdays, but the practice are also keen to explore a job share. There is no overnight work, but you will be required to support hospital colleagues at their RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital on a 1:8 Sunday daytime only rota. The hospital has great 24 -hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists and provides a good environment to develop your ECC skills. The branch role is sole charge but is fully supported by the hospital team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience. You will be a good clinician who can fit into the practice culture and values, and just enjoy being a great GP, a really good communicator, and someone who would relish helping to advance the standards of care. You should have good general surgical and medical skills. You will need to be confident with all routine surgeries and first opinion consults.
