Our client is expanding and is now looking for Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice.
They have a very knowledgeable and supportive, small independent practice in the market town of Witney, Oxfordshire. You will enjoy working in a beautiful part of the country with Oxford on your doorstep and easy access to London.
Role
· Opening hours Mon – Fri: 9am – 6pm
· 1:2 Saturdays 9am – 12.30pm
· 1:4 W/E on-call/OOH rota
They are looking for a confident, friendly and personable vet who is passionate about working towards the best possible solutions for both patient and client. With mentoring from an experienced vet and the support of our friendly, relaxed team, you will develop your skills and expertise to provide a high standard of care for your patients and their owners. We encourage ownership of cases.
The practice is on a single site with in-house lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, diathermy etc. They see a varied case load in dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits etc and offer a full service from routine consults to complex medical and surgical cases. The practice has an extremely loyal and established client base.
During the lockdown period, they have developed a partially enclosed, outdoor consulting area complete with dog floor and table areas and a large walk-in cage for cat and rabbit consultations so our clients can be present but safely distanced.
There is an online booking facility from their website, e-signing of consent forms and appointment confirmation texts with links so the diary registers a clients arrival in the car park.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Vet to join their team.
