Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated, 100% Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

If you are an individual who is commitment to developing and growing both yourself and the clients, then come and join an independent mixed animal practice in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Role

· 4.5 Days per Week

· No OOH’s

· Monday – Friday

· Some Saturday mornings on a shared rota.

Temporary COVID hours are in place at the moment, this will change when Government restrictions are lifted.

You will need to be motivated and confident, also be keen to take responsibility for your own cases and clients.

You will be able to engage and empathise with your clients and be keen to work up cases as fully as possible without referring. Communication with pet owners and colleagues is an essential skill

You will be based at the main Luton surgery, but there is a need to travel between branches so your own vehicle is required.

This could suit a new grad, but a minimum of 1 years’ post grad experience is preferred.

The Practice

This is an independent mixed practice (the vacancy is for a 100% Small Animal vet), comprising of three surgeries. They are located in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, with excellent airport, train and motorway links. They are RCVS accredited, and provide SVN training through the College of Animal Welfare, and they are also a main centre providing clinical services for the Blue Cross. They are privileged to have the experience and dedication of their supportive clinicians, nurses, reception and administration teams.

This independent practice provides excellence in all aspects of pet care. With many years of experience in the veterinary sector, the team has a genuine passion for animal health.
