Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. This independent practice has a new opportunity for an experienced, confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Role
The practice is looking for a someone who is confident, friendly and a dynamic vet, to join their 14 vets at this Independent, RCVS-accredited hospital. They have been serving the local community in the area for over 120 years and have an impeccable reputation.
The practice provides their own out of hours service, the rota currently involves covering 1:9 weekends and 1:9 OOH on-call, although this may change with additional staff members adding to the rota.
You will be part of a rolling 9-week rota which includes consultations and operations slots. There is 2 to 3 vets operating Monday – Friday, 08.30 – 17.00. You will have a fair share of operations.
· 4 days pw. 08.30 to 19.00
· 1:9 OOH on-call
· Shared Weekends
· Preferable 1+ years’ experience, but will consider new grads.
They aim for a reputation for care, service and quality and are looking for someone keen to be part of their friendly team. They allow and encourage clinical freedom as they like people to be able to think for themselves. They are proud to provide our own OOH, where you will share the rota.
This is a Full-Time position but part time will be considered to further expand their growing team. FULL TIME ONLY.

The Practice
An Independent veterinary practice with a long history of serving the residents of the affluent town of Bishops Stortford.
A large number of clients have insurance which enables you to fully work up cases. Everyone gets a share of consultations and operations, you are encouraged to fully work up your own cases to a conclusion, if you don’t have the skills, they can help. They have certificate or equivalent holders in Small Animal Surgery, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Behaviour. They also have vets with considerable experience in allergies and heart scans. Development is actively encouraged – we give a cpd allowance of £1,500 per annum or £3,000 for people enrolling on certificate programs.
