Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. This practice has a new opportunity for a motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Role
- 2 branch practice that share a 1 in 4 rota
- 5 ½ days per week varying on a 4-week rota
- Working time: Mon – Fri 9am – 6.30pm, average 2 hours lunch break.
- Weekends 1:4 Saturday 9am -1pm and Sunday mornings emergencies and in-patient generally 1 hour with Nurse support.
- On call 1:4 on call rota split over 4-week rota. Emergencies only with VN triage support.
- Bank Holidays shared equally with extra day off for each BH worked
- Part Time hours can also be considered
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated first opinion vet to join the team in delivering the highest quality of care to our clients and patients. The ideal candidate will be confident consulting, performing first opinion surgical procedures, performing diagnostic investigations, and providing dedicated inpatient care.
The daily/weekly rota consists of consults, surgeries, taking care of in-patients, dealing with emergencies upon arrival. There is a great team of 4 Vets & 10 Vet Nurses sharing the weekly rota.
This practice provides excellence in all aspects of pet care. With many years of experience in the veterinary sector, the team has a genuine passion for animal health. They aspire to create an environment that offers clinical excellence combined with first rate patient care.
They are always looking for new specialities to add to their team, it could be an interest in Dermatology, Orthopaedics or cardiology etc. On occasion, you can get involved with any Sea Life or Exotics patients.
This could suit a relatively new graduate, but a minimum of 2-year experience is preferred
