Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for a motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Role

• No OOH
• 3 Days a Week, 8.30am to 6.30pm
• Week split between Two teams.
• 1:4 Sundays & BH Rota – 9.30am to 5.00pm
• 15 Minute Consults
• Late Checks rota

They are looking for a Vet to join their Thursday, Friday & Saturday team, this can be discussed further at interview.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated first opinion vet to join the team in delivering the highest quality of care to our clients and patients. The ideal candidate will be confident consulting, performing first opinion surgical procedures, performing diagnostic investigations, and providing dedicated inpatient care.

The weekly rota consists of consults, operations, taking care of in-patients, dealing with emergencies upon arrival.

This practice provides excellence in all aspects of pet care. With many years of experience in the veterinary sector, the team has a genuine passion for animal health. They aspire to create an environment that offers clinical excellence combined with first rate patient care.

This could suit a relatively new graduate, as a minimum of 1-year experience is preferred

The Practice

We’ve been providing outstanding veterinary care in Gravesend and North Kent for over 60 years. Our practice is currently co-owned by David Mason, who took over ownership in 2005 having worked at the practice since 1977. Dave is now retired but still co-owns

While working at The Shrubbery Vet, David was a vet for Radio Kent for five years and is also a former chairman of the Petsavers charity committee. The practice itself – a former vicarage – has previously hosted a Radio Kent live broadcast, and was one of the first veterinary practices in the country to be filmed for Sky TV!

Natalie Devleeschouwer is the other co-owner, and has worked at the practice since 2011. As Clinical Director she is responsible for ensuring that our high standards are always maintained.

Our team of staff all share the same passion for animals and determination to provide the best possible service and treatment to every client who visits the practice. Between them they have a wealth of experience, including ultrasound, acupuncture, dermatology, internal medicine and cardiac medicine.

Over 10,000 pet owners in the Gravesend and North Kent area trust us with the health of their pets and we know our clients expect their pet to receive a top-quality service from an experienced veterinary team
