Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Role
- Opening hours: Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 6.30pm
- Open 8:30-12:30 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays.
- Out-of-hours are covered by an external emergency vet service
We have 15-minute consult times and our support team are wonderful in helping us to work up cases fully. We have a well-equipped laboratory which allows in house testing of T4, SDMA Cortisol, Bile Acids as well as the usual suspects, and we have recently added the brand new Sediview Machine to our arsenal, allowing quick and comprehensive urinalysis.
Our focus here is very much patient and client based, with profits being a benefit of good medicine rather than the driving force behind it. We encourage the formation of working relationships between our staff and clients and believe that it is important that we enjoy what we do.
I am looking at implementing a rota pattern that gives each vet a mix of later starts, earlier finishes and one full day off per week. The way it is set out can be tweaked according to each individual's needs and of course will change with things like holiday cover etc.

The Practice
The practice was formed in 2012 when the current owner decided to take on the challenge of owning her own surgery, she then purchased the well-established practice on North Street, Redruth, which is now called Redruth Veterinary Surgery.
We hope to journey with you through all stages of your pet’s life, and we are here to respond to the worrying times when your pet is ill or you have an emergency.
Whether it’s a planned annual health check or an emergency you will not be rushed, we are here to offer you our time, care and experience.
