VetFinders are recruiting for an independent, long established, private practice in Bude, Cornwall. The role is for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon. The practice location has to be situated in one the most beautiful places in the UK, and offers to be a fantastic place to enjoy your free time.

The practice is looking for an experienced all-round 100% small animal vet who is happy and confident with a mixture of ops and consults.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 1-3 years UK experience, but applications from new graduates will also be welcomed. All interests are supported.
This role is being offered at 40 hours per week, with in house OOHs, and 1 in 4 weekends.
This role is suitable for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Vet, keen on developing their clinical skills, the ideal candidate will benefit from the support of an experienced team. There will be an element of sole charge (depending on experience).
We would ideally be looking for a vet with experience, but support and mentoring would be available for a more recently qualified graduate. Partnership prospects are available to the right candidate, looking for a long-term non-corporate career path.
- RCVS registered and qualified

You will be pleased to know that all modern equipment is in place, including colour Doppler ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, Idexx in-house blood machines, multi-parameter monitors, and renovations are underway on our new operating theatre to expand the clinical area.
The practice also has two certificate holders, offering a local referral service in Cardiology and Orthopaedic surgery. The practice is a member of the VetSure and VetDynamics communities and has an emphasis on a progressive approach to veterinary medicine with healthy work-life balance.
