Our client is looking for an experienced equine vet to join their 8-vet mixed practice on the Isle of Man. They have teams of experienced veterinary nurses and receptionists supporting the practices. This is a permanent role ideally suited to someone who is confident with sole charge and OOH work, someone who is happy to work up cases fully and someone who can perform xrays/ultrasound/joint blocks. They currently have one vet who does most of the equine work, but this side of the practice is very busy and there is scope to expand. This role would suit someone looking for more responsibility, and wanting to help to develop the equine side of the practice even more.

 

 

***The Isle of Man is currently COVID-19 free are lucky to be living without any restrictions currently-no 2nd lockdown, no masks, everything open as usual! However, anyone entering the island must self-isolate for 2 weeks on arrival. Therefore, they ideally need someone to come over ASAP to be able to have finished isolating by mid-December…..***
 

They have portable ultrasound and an xray machine.
