At Vetfinders we are helping a practice in South East London find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic and experienced Vet to join their team at this Independent, small animal practice
Role
- No OOH’s.
- 5 days pw, 8.30am to 5.30pm
- 2:4 Saturday morning, 8.30am to 2pm (Wednesday of that week is given off)
- Full time, but Part Time will be discussed
The rota consists of a 5-day week and 35-42 hours a week. A Saturday rota of every other Saturday is required. However, this is not a full day, and the hours on a Saturday are 8.30-2pm and when a Saturday is worked, the Wednesday of that week, is taken as a day off. Our normal opening hours at present (Covid) are 8.30am- 5.30pm. We do not do any out of hour and we transfer any patients to an out of hours service. We do not work bank holidays, and these will be given off.
The successful candidate will benefit from the clinical freedom enjoyed by being an independent practice. You will be a motivated and passionate individual, working seamlessly alongside our team to provide high quality veterinary care and a fantastic client service.
You will be free to workup and manage your own clinical cases and enjoy building your own client base, whilst benefitting from the support of our experienced team, with whom case discussion and collaboration are encouraged. There be some sole charge.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred but will consider less for a candidate with the right character, ability, and positive attitude.

The Practice
This independent, training practice prides itself on providing excellence in all aspects of pet care. As a practice, they require an understanding, enthusiastic and patient team player. You must be confident and capable of carrying out surgical and medical procedures also consults.
Must have:
- RCVS Registration & Qualified
- Possess the Right to Work in the UK
- Compassion and empathy
- Effective decision-making ability
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- The ability to problem solve
The practice is 15 minutes from London bridge station, but we are situated in South London and have access to major train services, bus routes and DLR stations.
