Role: Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal)
Location: Redcar (Upleatham)/Stokesley, North Yorkshire
Hours: Permanent, Full time, 4 days per week, 1:4 Saturdays, No OOHs, No Sundays
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience £35-60k per annum

They are looking to recruit a Veterinary surgeon with immediate effect, suitable for a 5 year + experienced Vet ideally, although applications will be considered from all varying levels of experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon, looking to join an expanding team, and ever-increasing case load.

We are looking for a permanent small animal veterinary surgeon who has ideally 5 plus years’ experience, however, all candidates will be considered and encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be someone who is confident in their skills, proactive, personable and able to carry out consults and surgery without assistance, bearing in mind that there will always be someone who can be asked for help and advice in the building.
This is a 100% small animal role, in a mixed practice, working a 4-day week (3 x 8:30am-6pm, 1 x 8:30am-7pm each week). This is a full time, permanent role and will include 1 in 4 Saturdays, no Sunday working, and no OOH’s. Some bank holidays will be required, this will be an equal share and is no more than 1 in 4.
Development and progression are important to the practice as they grow and evolve, but finding the right person is key. The practice is looking for someone to work with their existing clients, and deliver their high excellent standard of patient care. The team currently have strong work ethics to ensure quality and effective work is carried out to gain the best overall satisfied results for the patient and the client.

This mixed practice is well established and respected across the local area and North Yorkshire County. Being based in a beautiful part of the country, their 3 branches, which currently houses 19 vets, successfully cover the outstanding surroundings of Whitby, Redcar (Upleatham) and Stokesley.
The practice is fully committed to providing the best care possible for their clients and this has seen them make significant investments in the practice in recent years, which include Digital x-ray, Ultrasound, good quality dental machines, ECG, endoscope, BP machine, tonometer, with plans to continue to grow in the future.
