Role: 100% Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Helmsley, York
Hours: Permanent, 4 days per week, 1 in 3 Saturday’s (consults only), No OOHs
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience -£35-70k per annum, open dependent on experience and skill level

Actively recruiting for an experienced Small Animal Vet with immediate effect. This role is to join a dedicated and small, family, friendly team in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
Due to significant growth of demand on the practice, they are looking to expand and invite a new Vet to join their amazing team of professionals.

About the practice:
A proudly independent practice, family run, based in Gate Helmsley, a rural setting on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire.
The practice is a modern, forward-thinking practice, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, but holds dear the pride for traditional values, when it comes to customer service and animal welfare. The practice is a well-respected and successfully established practice within the local area region, it is known for delivering dedicated service, and a passionate and personalised approach to veterinary care.
The team consists currently of 3 VETS, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 3 experienced receptionists, lots of experience to learn from and ask for advice.
The practice is looking for a team player, who is looking to lay down roots in this beautiful part of Yorkshire.
The practice is very flexible, they understand the importance of a work life balance, therefore all applications welcomed. Ideally, they would like someone who has 3 years’ experience in small animals, due to some elements of sole charge.

The Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. There will be elements of Sole charge, potentially one day during the week and Saturdays on rota.
This is a permanent, full-time position, offered over 4 days, with 1 in 3 Saturdays only, No Sunday or Bank holiday working and No OOHs. Saturday hours 9am-4pm – consults only, and sole charge.
There is a good split between consults and surgery, therefore we are looking for a surgeon that is comfortable and able to do both. Having a preference for surgery would be advantageous but not necessary.
This role is very much a team player position, where clinical freedom is standard and support is delivered superbly via the experienced RVN team.
