SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY SURGEON – Western Bay of Plenty, New Zealand  $90k-$140 DOE

They are a five site veterinary business, boosting a great team culture. There’s an atmosphere of “getting it”. Everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time. They have a dedicated management team to support and look after you.  A Clinical Director to promote your ongoing development and a Practice Manager with a passion for workplace wellness.
Joining a  team of over 50 Veterinary Professionals, who have found the balance between interesting medical cases and surgeries, work-life balance, and outstanding teamwork. They are enthusiastic and friendly, strong in terms of support, case discussions, and mentoring, as well as encouraging you to develop yourself and others around you.
Tauranga branch is where you will be based, newly renovated with state of the art kit, all under one roof in a purpose-built facility plus they are an NZVA Best Practice® Accredited Clinic , the only one in the area.
Their clinics provide in-house point of care diagnostics (CBC, Biochemistry and Imagist), Digital X-ray, Ultrasonography and Dental X-ray. They offer a referral imaging service and also accept a variety of medical and surgical referrals from other practices, such as Radioactive Iodine treatment.
This position is Full-Time, Monday to Friday, and every one in three weekend fixed hours. The role could be fulfilled with one full-time Veterinarian or alternatively an option of two part-time.
Ideally, they are looking for a general small animal vet with surgical and medical skills, two years exp but are flexible here, it’s the person who is key.

Salary and Perks:  $90k-$140k DOE plus registration, licence fees paid for and all relocation costs included.  CPD allowance is provided based on experience. They have a social club, wellness workshops, annual Clinic Awards and Christmas Party.
