Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Herts/Essex Border (M11, Junction 7A)
Salary: £45,000-£65,000 DOE, Pro rata FTE

This practice is run by the owner, an experienced Veterinary surgeon herself, with a certificate in Surgery, here presents the opportunity to work alongside and for one of the most reputable Vets in the area. Sharing workload and cases, as well as leading your own.
The role is offering a full-time, or part-time permanent contract. Ideal candidates will want to work between 2- 5 days per week, however, all applications would be considered.
For the practice, it is about the person and what they can bring to the team. Kindness, openness, compassion, and good decision-making skills are what they really look for.
No weekend hours or out-of-hours commitments are included within this role, but a flexible attitude would be welcomed for holiday cover. Work-life balance is of course required by each team member and given as a standard.
In terms of experience, you will be confident and capable in all aspects of consultations and surgeries of all small animal general practices.
You need to be comfortable with sole charge, as this will be expected. The person has to be able to make decisions in the absence of other Vets and take charge of clinical procedures and care, showing excellent standards of patient and client care.
The practice offers clinical freedom in abundance, they do not compromise on offering quality veterinary practices, which is why their consult times are a minimum of 15 minutes. Each case can be worked on from start to finish also. They understand that time is sometimes needed to resolve something, they are realistic about this.
