Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, 4 week rolling rota. Working 1;4 weekends, full day Saturday ad half day Sunday

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Liverpool for an experienced, Registered Veterinary Nurse, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity for 2 RVN’s looking for 40 hours maximum per week.

Our client is looking to expand the team and add 2 additional RVN’s to the wonderful practice.

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Registered Veterinary Nurse’s, who are committed to providing high standards of patient care. A qualified RVN should promote good staff morale and positive culture, whilst leading by example, motivating the team towards the common goal of achieving excellence across clinical nursing standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. Be able to perform all RVN duties, and lead others under supervision as required.

The person needs to be hard working, have a strong work ethic and be a good team player, the practice is a lively and engaging place to work, therefore an engaging and flexible approach is required.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, you will get paid for 40 hours, but the rota is a 37.5 hours per week on a 4 week rota basis, with 1 in 4 weekends, full day Saturday, half say Sunday, No OOHs.

Must haves:

· RCVS registered and qualified

· Possess the right to work in the UK

· Excellent communication skills

· Be a team player

The practice is a fast paced, forward thinking, established practice with an excellent reputation within the community. It focuses on development and boosts excellent facilities and a great team environment.

The practices’ aim is to provide the highest standards of customer service and care for its owners and their pets at an affordable price. Therefore, the person joining the team needs to also believe in the practice’s aim and vision.

The practice believes in RVN’s being allowed time to nurse, and being valued as a nurse, with schedule 3 being encouraged. The case load is mixed and varied, with a large supporting VET team. Nurses have their own clinics and consultations, as well as be expected to cover all areas of consults, theatre and inpatient care.
