At Vetfinders we are helping a practice in the Hampshire find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic RVN to join their team at this independent animal practice.
Role
- No OOH’s
- £24,000 pa DOE
- Morning shift, 8am to 2pm. Afternoon shift,2pm to 7.30pm. All day shift, 8am to 7.30pm
- 1:3 Saturdays, 8.30am-5pm with time off. Sunday’s flexi – time

This independent practice provides excellence in all aspects of pet care. They require an understanding, enthusiastic and patient team player. You must be confident and capable of carrying out all routine nursing duties.
Duties will include theatre work, kennels work, reception, lab work, consults, stock rotation and a small amount of admin etc, nurse triage, client education, puppy cuddle appointments, iv and drip placement, blood tests, blood pressure clinics.
The practice aspires to create an environment that offers clinical excellence combined with first rate patient care.
Interest in nurse training would be a bonus, but not necessary.
This could suit a, soon to be qualified or an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse. You must be in your final training year and due to take your OSCE’s.

Nurse triage, client education and nurse clinics are highly supported and encouraged. The practice as a whole works closely with the local CP branch and not a week goes by without a stray cat or two needing care and attention.
