The Practice
It is uncertain exactly when our practice was established, it is believed to date back to before the Second World War, when it predominantly dealt with farm animals. However, as the need for agricultural veterinary care in Essex declined over the years, our practice became dedicated to delivering first class care for small animals.
Our owner David Eagar joined the practice 40 years ago. He went on to become a partner with two others, and in 2005 became the sole owner of Elm House Veterinary Centre.
In 1992, after deciding to focus on smaller, household pets, we moved our practice to its current location. Today, as well as offering all of the services your pet may need, we also have adequate parking facilities, a fully-equipped operating theatre and the space to hold exclusive puppy parties for our clients.
Additionally, you can look forward to being looked after by our team of friendly professionals each time you visit us. Each member of staff at our practice attends monthly meetings about various areas of veterinary health, as well as vet shows, courses and training. So, rest assured, your pet couldn’t be in better hands.
This is a great chance to be involved in an independent practice surrounded by a motivated supportive team helping you to do the work you are trained to do.
