VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Leicester for a Registered Veterinary Nurse, with immediate effect. This is a fantastic opportunity, working for a well-respected and successful team.
The Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Registered Veterinary Nurse committed to providing high standards of patient care. A qualified RVN should promote good staff morale and positive culture, whilst leading by example, motivating the team towards the common goal of achieving excellence across clinical nursing standards.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform all RVN duties, including and not limited to admissions, assisting the surgeons, in-patient care, consultation and discharging patients, as well as nurse clinics and administration.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 36 hours per week, plus Saturday mornings on a rota.
Duties include:
· Animal handling
· Theatre duties
· Stock management and replenishment
· Equipment cleaning
· Clinical support to Vets
· Nurse consults

The Practice has been caring for the local animal community since the 1970’s and is a mixed practice, treating both small and farm animal with professional services at a high standard across their 2 branches.
The practices’ aim is to provide the highest standards of customer service and care for its owners and their pets. Therefore, the person joining the team needs to also believe in the practice’s aim and vision.
The practice believes in RVN’s being allowed to nurse, and being valued as a nurse. The case load is mixed and varied, with a large supporting VET team of 8. The practice prides itself on their caring and dedicated approach, through the combined wealth of expertise, compassion and interest for the patients at hand.
