Here at Vetfinders we are helping a practice find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for a proactive, experienced and enthusiastic RVN to join their team.

This practice is part of a larger set up, based in the small village of Thames Ditton, near Surbiton. It is situated between the better-known Surbiton and Esher, and also very convenient for the A3.
Role
- Full Time, 40 hrs pw or Part Time considered
- No OOH
- No Weekends
- Sole Charge
- 5 days a week, Mon-Fri 0930 – 1730
The practice is happy to discuss a more flexible working week, shorter days, fewer days per week, flexible hours.
This is a small one-vet, one-nurse practice, therefore the responsibilities will be everything related to nursing: laboratory equipment, operating theatre, x-ray (radiation protection certificate would be welcomed, but willing to send the candidate on the RPA course), hospitalisation area, controlled drugs storage and register, etc.
Assisting vet with holding patients during morning consults, running blood tests, preparing samples to send to outside lab, admitting and preparing patients for surgery, assisting with anaesthesia’s, monitoring patients in recovery, discharging patients, cleaning various areas including floors, sterilisation of instruments, care of lab and x-ray equipment, speaking to clients about pet care and health issues etc., nurse clinics if desired. May be required to help out on reception from time to time.
Must be qualified RVN and competent for sole charge. Probably min of 2 years training plus an extra year, but happy to discuss.
