Role: Weekend Production Operators
Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Hours: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Full time hours

VF Recruitment are proud to be the recruitment partner for a successful and established supplier of feeds and supplements to agri-food, feed and food industry internationally.
Working in the Mill environment, you will be working towards KPIs within safety, quality and delivery, to meet production demands. This role will report to the Shift Supervisor / Manager.

The role:
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) when operating machinery or FLT’s, especially in regard to Health & Safety, work instructions, and quality procedures and standards
• To complete all training required to successfully carry out all tasks
• Ensure that all paperwork relevant in your area is completed to a high degree of accuracy
• To work as part of a production / operational team to manufacture products, adhering to H&S, work order sheets and comply with quality guidelines
• Previous experience within a production/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work as a strong team player and demonstrate a knowledge of output and quality standards
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment
• Computer literate
• Good attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Willingness to learn new roles
• Physical capability to meeting the manual handling aspects of the role
• A good level of both written and verbal English
