Role: Official Veterinarian/ TB TESTER
Location: Leicester
Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week

VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Leicestershire for an experienced, Official Veterinarian / TB Tester, with immediate effect. Based in a semi-rural area, yet within easy reach of the city and local towns, Fosse Park shopping centre and M1/M69 junctions.
The Role:
We are looking for an OV/TB TESTER who holds the same values as the team, expecting a high level of professionalism in the standard of testing, whilst at the same time being friendly and helpful to farm clients – so someone prepared to muck in and help is essential. The OV panels required would be TT and PX.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, TB testing Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (test and reading patterns), with every other Wednesday doing export work on a rota basis.

Must haves:
- RCVS registered and qualified
- 2+ years, post grad farm experience
- Possess the right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently
About the practice:
The practice is a fast paced, forward thinking, established practice with an excellent reputation within the community. The Practice has been caring for the local animal community since the 1970’s and is a mixed practice, treating both small and farm animals (not equine) with professional services at a high standard across their 2 branches ever since.
The practices’ aim is to provide the highest standards of customer service and care for its owners and their pets. Therefore, the person joining the team needs to also believe in the practice’s aim and vision.
