Role: New Grad Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Louth, Lincolnshire     

Hours: Permanent, Four-day week, no OOH and 1:4 Saturday mornings. 

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, £30K per annum

About the practice:

 

This independent is a truly wonderful one site practice, located at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds where they meet the Lincolnshire Marshes. A small town, home to the last remaining cattle market in the UK. Steeped in history and with good commuter links, this is a beautiful part of the country to live.

 

The practice is a forward thinking, established practice with an excellent reputation within the community. It focuses on development and boasts excellent facilities and a great team environment.  They are looking for people who want to progress and provide the best level of care for their patients. 

 

The practice is very flexible, they understand the importance of a work life balance.

 

This is an experienced team that remembers what it is like to be a new grad, and wants to offer the support required to mentoring someone become the best veterinary surgeon they can be.

The Role:

Candidates that have recently graduated, due to graduate or have up to a years’ experience, is ideally what this practice is looking for.

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis. Full time hours would be 4 days per week, no OOHs and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. No bank holidays or Sundays.

 

As a new graduate, your development of clinical and non-clinical skills will be of the upmost importance and this will be supported through inhouse training and mentorship, as well as you attending dedicated CDP days. Self-leadership, well-being, team work, and resilience will be required also.

 

The team currently consists of 4 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 1 x ACA, bolstering a true supportive team environment. The practice is also looking for a more experienced vet so the experience and support will only increase to any new starter over the coming months.
