Mixed Veterinary Surgeon
Want to work as a Mixed Animal Vet with a Partnership Opportunity, in a great location?
David is looking for a mixed animal Vet to join his busy 2 branch, independent practice in the gorgeous location of Shrewsbury.
You might be reading this tired, disgruntled, on a rare break wondering if every advert you read for a Vet says the same thing and is offering the same things. Well hopefully after reading this you might think a little differently.
A caring, kind, emphatic person is just as important as the experience, this is why they are open to hiring from a graduate to a more experienced Vet. Whilst they are looking for a mixed vet, this is very much small animal biased, roughly a 70/30 split, but if you are just small animal only, they are more than happy to have a conversation.
A staunchly independent practice treating species from dogs and cats to goats, cows, pigs, alpacas, horses’ sheep and also exotic species. There isn’t much they haven’t treated over the years!
You will be working 8.30am – 6.30/7.00pm pw and a 1:3 weekend rota. There is a varied case load with generous CPD, with modern facilities for you to make use of. You will be working with a friendly caring team who will support through the tough days who want to do the best for patient and practice.
Flexibility is the buzz word at the minute. Nothing is set in stone and they are very keen to accommodate your needs as much as possible, so please let us know as I am sure they can help.
Both sites are located in village settings, a couple of great pubs and within in easy reach of some beautiful locations, Shrewsbury, Telford, Chester and Market Drayton to name but a few.
Salary – as they are so open to all experience levels, a graduate they will be looking to start at around £33k pa, with senior vets at around £66k pa. Does that sound reasonable? They also have use
of a car and accommodation available on a short-term basis if required.
There is a genuine partnership opportunity here for the right individual which they are more than happy to discuss at interview.
If you feel you are our clients next Vet, then we would love to hear from you…
