Role: Official Veterinarian/ TB TESTER

Location: Leicester

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week

VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Leicestershire for an experienced, Official Veterinarian / TB Tester, with immediate effect. The Role:

We are looking for an OV/TB TESTER who holds the same values as the team, expecting a high level of professionalism in the standard of testing, whilst at the same time being friendly and helpful to farm clients – so someone prepared to muck in and help is essential. The OV panels required would be TT and PX.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, TB testing Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (test and reading patterns), with every other Wednesday doing export work on a rota basis.

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Registered Veterinary Nurse committed to providing high standards of patient care. A qualified RVN should promote good staff morale and positive culture, whilst leading by example, motivating the team towards the common goal of achieving excellence across clinical nursing standards.

 

The ideal candidate will be able to perform all RVN duties, including and not limited to admissions, assisting the surgeons, in-patient care, consultation and discharging patients, as well as nurse clinics and administration.

Our client has a brand new role and are currently looking for a Clinical Director to really drive their two practices forward. These practices are located very close to each other with under a ten minute drive. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Vet with extensive clinical experience who is seeking to take their next career step. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver outstanding care and service and strengthen the relationship between the branches.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years UK experience, and be able to perform most standard emergency surgeries and manage complex medical cases. You will be a good leader who thrives on developing other veterinary surgeons, new graduates and a nursing team. You will be very proficient in programmes such as Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams. Ideally you will experience of managing teams before.

Full time over 4 days per week plus 1 in 6 full weekends.
