VetFinders are recruiting for our client in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, home to the Doncaster Rovers football team and the very popular Yorkshire wildlife park. They are in the need of an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, with immediate effect.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-respected and experienced team of specialists in the area, having recently opened a new practice, to hospital standard, this is a very exciting opportunity to join and grow with the existing team.

About the practice:

A very busy small animal practice with a passionate, family feel, close knit team, that is dedicated to offering compassionate care to the pets and people of Doncaster.

You will be joining a team of 8 vets, 5 RVN’s, 4 SVN’s and a wonderful support team of 13. Team working and respecting each other is key to our success.

We will be hosting Vets Now and so there is no OOH or Bank Holiday Work. We encourage continuity of care

The Role:

We are looking for a vet surgeon who holds the same values as the team, with some experience to be able to carry out most medical, surgical procedures and consultations of general practice. All candidates with a medical bias would be seen as advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, with 2 in 7 Saturday mornings 8am-12pm, most weekdays days 8hrs.

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their purpose-built practice based in Doncaster.

 

 You will be joining 2 vets, 1 RVN’s, 2 student nurses and 3 Client Care Advisors. You will ideally have good general surgical and medical skills as well as experience in emergency surgery. They are happy to hear from either experienced vet who want more responsibility or more recent graduates.

 

Ideally looking for someone to join full time but happy to consider part time. Both roles would be part of a 1 in 3 weekend rotas.

Our client is a group of well respected and successful practices, based in South Yorkshire. The practices are looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who has an interest in orthopaedics and surgery. Ideal candidates will have the ambition to become a Senior Vet and eventually a Clinical Director. This role is ideal for anyone who is looking to develop their career and move to the next progression stage. If you are a certificate holder this is an advantage, if not you will be encourage to work towards achieving this.

The practices are based across 3 locations in Doncaster and the location of work will vary across the sites through a rota system.

The team is made up of 6 Vets, 5 RVNs and 4 SVNs, it is a very supportive team, that work together well, communication is important, as well as work life balance.

There will be sole charge with this position, and the opportunity to mentor junior Vets, therefore you need to be a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon. Ambition and enthusiastic are pre-requisites for the role.

Full time – 40 hours per week

2 in 6 Saturday Mornings on rota

no on call or OOHs
