Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, confident Vet to join their friendly team on a full-time basis. This role would be ideal for a new or recent graduate as there will be plenty of support offered to the successful candidate. There will be some sole charge duties once you are confident. Fantastic opportunity for a Vet to join their supportive team. You will be have good general small animal medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases and ideally some surgical skills but a willingness to learn is key.  You will have excellent communication skills and a strong team player. The practice actively encourage career development and will help the successful candidate grow and achieve their career aspirations.

Weekends will be on a 1 in 3 rota

Our client is seeking a Vet to join their small animal practice. Your client facing skills are integral for this 1st Opinion Vet position. The practice has a regular returning customer base so naturally having the skills to build long term relationships is an asset. You will have 2 years UK experience in small animal work. You will have great client communication skills and the ability to make decisions, prioritise and delegate. Certificate in medicine, surgery or imaging would be advantageous (or a desire to enrol). You will need to be confident in making decisions, and happy to mix with different teams and build relationships quickly.

 

The practice provides first opinion treatments plus referral services for their own clients and other practices. They have their own dedicated night team. They are part of 12 local practices who provide quality care, with well-equipped on-site facilities and lots of returning customers who want that friendly team feel. This role is to support one of the practices with occasional cover at other local practices. The Vet team are supported by a team of practice nurses.

The hours for this role are an average of 43 per week,

approx 1:6 weekends

No OOH.
