Role

· Approx. 8 hrs shift.

· Typical day is 9.30am to 5.30pm

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal

Location: Cardiff, South Wales

Hours: Full Time, 40 hrs pw

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

VetFinders are recruiting for our client in the vibrant city of Cardiff. The practice now has plans in place to expand, this means they are in the need of Veterinary Nurses. They are looking for someone to start in Jan/Feb 2021.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an Award winning, independent and well-respected practice with an experienced team of specialists.

 

The Role:

There are consults throughout the week, Monday – Friday with some weekend cover in times of absence.

 

The rota is 5 days a week, with either 8.30am or 9.30am start to either a 5.30pm or 6.30pm finish. There is standby on-call vet support, 2 nights pw with an on-call suite provided. No weekends.

 

There is lots of support in order to deliver clinical care in line with professional standards and clinical guidelines

 

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

 

Benefits package:

20 days A/L + 8 bank holidays a year. (January – December)

CPD allowance & long-term training

RCVS Membership once registered

Pension scheme

Salary will be discussed depending on the candidate.

Current Government Covid 19 guidelines are in place.

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • 2+ years, small Animal Experience
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
