Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Location: Burnley, Lancashire

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week. On OOHs – 1 in 3 weekends.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

With 12 months under their belt in practice in Burnley, the main thing you need to know about the practice is that the hunger they have to be the best in the area. To provide the highest standards of customer service and care for its owners and their pets at an affordable price. Therefore, the person joining the team needs to also believe in the practice’s aim and vision.


The Role:

The practice believes in RVN’s being allowed time to nurse, and being valued as a nurse. The case load is mixed and varied, with a super supportive VET team. Nurses have their own clinics and consultations, as well as be expected to cover all areas of consults, theatre and inpatient care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. Be able to perform all RVN duties.

The person needs to be hard working, have a strong work ethic and be a good team player, the practice is a lively and engaging place to work, therefore an engaging and flexible approach is required.

Veterinary Surgeon

Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Burnley – Lancashire

Hours: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8.30am – 6.30pm, 2 w/ends a month

Salary: Very Competitive, depending on experience


VetFinders are recruiting for a truly independent, family run practice in Burnley, Lancashire. This is a newly established and very busy practice, looking for an excellent, committed and experienced Veterinary Surgeon. The practice is based in a beautiful purpose-built clinic in a grade 2 listed building, boosting modern facilities.

The addition to the team comes through pure consistent growth, as the practice has gone from strength to strength. The successful applicant will join a fantastic team of professionals, consisting currently of 1 VET, 3RVNS’s, 2 ACA’s and 1 Receptionist.

The Role:

We are looking for a vet surgeon who holds the same values as the team, with some experience to be able to carry out most medical, surgical procedures and consultations of general practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

  • 4 day working week
  • Share of out of hours rota – weekend only
