Role: Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (surgical or medical bias)

Location: Barnet, North London

Hours: Permanent, 7 days on, 7 days off shift pattern

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience. £28-32k per annum

The Role:

We are looking for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse who holds the same values as the team. This is a hospital-based role therefore ideally the candidate will have experience in this setting, be able to work independently for the majority of shift, with a vet on call for emergencies.

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 40 hours per week, averaged over 7 days on, 7 days off rolling rota.

 

A qualified RVN should promote good staff morale and positive culture, whilst leading by example, motivating the team towards the common goal of achieving excellence across clinical nursing standards.

 

Duties include:

  • Ensuring high standards of nursing care in accordance with the RCVS guide to veterinary nursing.
  • Excelling at high quality veterinary service and communication at all times, whether within the clinic or communicated externally via marketing and social media.
  • Ensuring good preventative healthcare knowledge and veterinary understanding to be able to advise clients accordingly and recognise and act on pet emergency situations.
  • Ensuring your service level in the reception and waiting area excels at first impressions to foster excellent client relations, interaction and engagement.
  • Performing surgical, radiographic, dental, laboratory, pharmacy, anaesthetic and in-patient care and procedures under the direction of the Clinical Director or a veterinary surgeon.

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player

Veterinary Surgeon

Role: Veterinary Surgeon

Location: Barnet/ Enfield, London

Hours: Permanent, 4 – day week, 1 in 8 weeks on nights, 1 in 6 weekends

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience £45-65k per annum.

With a hospital and 4 branches within the group, this is a great opportunity to work across both practice, 1st opinion and hospital referrals client bases. This position will be split between the main hospital and the large / fully equipped branch in Enfield.

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

You will need to have the desire to practice veterinary medicine to the highest standard, being confident to work as part of a team, whilst able to work using excellent clinical decisions. Sole charge may be required within this position. Also, flexibility to work across all practices and hospital is required, as necessary.

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 4 days per week, working 1 week in 8 on nights, 1 Weekend in 6 weeks, and 1 sat morning every 3 to 4 weeks.
