Job Type: Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Salary: From £35-60k pa, Dependent on Experience
Hours: Permanent, 4 days per week, 2 in 6 Saturdays, no Sundays or OOHs
Location: West Lothian, Livingston, Scotland

The Role and You:
This is a Senior, experienced Veterinary Surgeon role, and as such you will need a minimum of 5 years + post grad experience. Certificate holder are welcome to apply, and the support of CPD is encouraged.
- Varied case load – even split between consults and surgery
- Companion animal
- 15-minute consults
- Average of 40 hours/week, across 4 days
- No late nights, Sundays / OOH
- 2 in 6 Saturday’s until 4pm
- Part time considered – very open to flexible / part-time working too and are happy to consider alternative working patterns, pro rata to suit you

- Onsite Physiotherapist and visiting specialists

The Practice and team:
Since 1981, this practice was the first in the area, and has been a successful and long-standing practice serving pets in the local and surrounding areas. Both the Livingston and Bathgate practices contain state-of-the-art equipment to assess, assist and treat your pets to the best of their ability.
You will be joining a strong team of 11 FTE Vets, 14 RVNs, 2 Student nurses, 1 ACA and a dedicated reception team.
Lots of experience and support in abundance.
This practice is a close-knit team, very supportive of each other, and they very much are looking for someone who wants to enjoy working as part of a close team
They have an enthusiastic and dedicated team which enjoys case discussion and helping each other to progress and
succeed, knowledge and skills are shared between colleagues. Management is also supportive and open to ideas on working practices.
