Hours: Permanent, 4 – day week, 1 in 4 weekends on rota

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience up to 50K per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity for 2 years + qualified Vet, that is looking to step up and mentor. The practice is a mixed practice, 70% Small animal, 20% farm and 10% Equine case load.

The Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. The practice would consider applications from all levels of experience.


This role is being offered on a permanent basis at 4 days per week, working one night per week on call and one weekend in four on call also.


As the practice is mixed, you will need to be adaptable and capable in each area, of farm, small animal and equine, as well as surgeries and consults, varied caseload.


Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player
