Role: Equine?Veterinary Surgeon (with some Farm/Large) – NEW GRADS CONSIDERED!

Location: Bolton, Lancashire.

Hours: Permanent, Full time, 5 out of 7 days Mon – Fri, 1:5 weekends, OOHs 1 night p/w – with days off in lieu.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience £30k+ per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2 years plus qualified Veterinary Surgeon, looking to join an expanding team, and ever-increasing case load. The Role:

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will need to be able and be comfortable with a mixture of consultations and surgical procedures of general practice, roughly 80% Equine caseload, 20% farm/ large animal. Confident and competent in the role, some sole charge in OOH’s work. Training will be given and mentoring is encouraged.

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred. Consideration for new graduates also.

 

This role is being offered on a permanent basis, hours worked over 5 days (8 hours). In addition, a weekend rota 1 in 5, 1 night per week OOHs with days off in lieu.

 

Development and progression are important to the practice, as they grow and evolve, but finding the right person is key. The practice is looking for someone to work with their existing clients, and deliver their high excellent standard of patient care. The team currently have strong work ethics to ensure quality and effective work is carried out to gain the best overall satisfied results for the patient and the client.

About the practice:

The practice is a well-respected and successfully established within the Lancashire and Greater Manchester region, having been established since 1992, it has been ever expanding since.

 

Proudly independent and always striving to offer the very best veterinary care possible.

 

The team consists currently of 4 Vets and supportive admin/reception staff; lots of experience to learn from and ask for advice. This is a remote role but there is always someone to offer advice and assist where needed.

 

The practice is looking for a team player, who believes communication and trust is very important for owners and therefore will endeavour to excel in this respect.
