At Vetfinders we are helping Gonda’s Veterinary Practice grow and find their next hire. They have a new opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Vet to join their team at this Independent, small animal practice in South Yorkshire

Role

  • Full Time hours with some OOH’s
  • 1:2 Weekends with TOIL
  • Full or Part Time discussed

This independent practice provides excellence in all aspects of pet care. As a practice, they require an understanding, enthusiastic and patient team player. You must be capable of carrying out surgical and medical procedures.
The successful candidate will benefit from the clinical freedom enjoyed by being an independent practice. You will be a motivated and passionate individual, working seamlessly alongside our team to provide high quality veterinary care and a fantastic client service.
You will be free to workup and manage your own clinical cases and enjoy building your own client base, whilst benefitting from the support of our experienced team, with whom case discussion and collaboration are encouraged.
The practice aspires to create an environment that offers clinical excellence combined with first rate patient and client care.
A minimum of 1 years’ experience is preferred but will consider less for a candidate with the right character, ability, and positive attitude. This could suit a New Grad.

Candidates should preferably have 2 or more years’ experience and be confident in performing routine surgery.

 

The Role:                  

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic, Veterinary Surgeon committed to providing high standards of patient and client care. This is a permanent, full-time (or part-time job share considered), with NO OOH’s.

 

· 1 in 3 Saturday morning on rota, with a day off in lieu the following week. This role comes with no Sunday working, as well as no out of hours or on call.

  • The team is fully supported by senior Vets and wonderful experienced RVNs.
  • Continuity of care is really important to the practice.

The Role:

 

As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for this practice, you need to be a good general practitioner, in all areas of consultations and surgeries, the ability to do sole charger is an advantage. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is advantageous. Very accomplished new graduates would be considered.

We are looking for a highly motivated vet who wants to work in a busy independent practice with a strong support system. 

The successful individual will want to build up their own client basis and develop good customer relationships, they will want to be part of an expanding practice and enthusiastic about the care we can provide to their patients. They will be happy to work independently but enjoy being part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team.

The role on offer is a permanent, full- or part-time contract, 4 and a half day working week, roughly 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and 1 in 10 full weekend days. The weekday working pattern is negotiable and there is a lot of variation within the current staff.

 

There is a good split between consults and surgery, therefore we are looking for a surgeon that is comfortable and able to do both.
