Due to their success our client has a fantastic opportunity for two Vets to join their supportive team  comprising of 4 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 Student Nurse, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants and 4 Receptionists. You will be confident with all routine surgical and medical cases, with excellent communication skills and a strong team player. These roles would suit experienced and confident Vets due to the small element of sole charge. You will be an experienced Vet, with at least 3 years experience, ideally a strong surgical background would be preferred, but is not essential. The practice actively encourages personal development through CPD and is happy to support study towards certificates for the right individual. There is a bonus scheme in place and possible partnership and profit share opportunities in the future.

Full Time role – 40 hour week  (as part of a 4 Vet rota).

1 in 4 weekend rota. You will be off as a 3 day weekend every 2 weeks.

 

Part Time role – 3 weekdays including Mon, Thurs and Fri but are open to flexibility.

Weekend Rota of 1 in 4.

 

There are no OOHs for either role.

VetFinders are recruiting for our client in the suburban neighbourhood of south-west London. The practice has had a Vet move on, so are now in the need of an Emergency Veterinary Surgeons. Ideally a start would be around the November/December time but would happy with early 2021.  

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-respected practice with a very experienced team of specialists in a newly refurbished, family-run, Surbiton Hospital.

The Role:

The role is focused on the emergency and hospital care of a great variety of cases from their 7 branches. The patients stay with us until they are better so you will enjoy case continuity.

You will work closely with our specialist team to ensure our patients have gold standard healthcare without the need to travel for external referral. This will also support your clinical development

The hours average at 42 hours per week, the ECC vets work 7 on and 7 off, alternate weeks.

1 week 7 day shifts 8am-8pm followed by a week off.

1 week 7-night shifts 8pm-8am followed by a week off.

Work life balance is achieved by a rota system offering periods of day time working, night time working and days off.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1+ years’ experience, this is not essential, but preferred.

You must enjoy client communication and be able to enhance the client bond with thorough explanation and a warm, compassionate approach.

This role is suitable for 1+ year new grads.
