Due to retirement our client is looking for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, ideally someone with leadership experience or an experienced vet looking to move into leadership role. Currently a 4 vet practice with aim to grow to 5 vets. You will be required to perform the duties of a practicing vet working to high clinical standards within this mixed practice. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and enthusiastic vet who is motivated, experienced and has strong communication skills. You are a 'people person' who takes a genuine interest in your work environment and are a real team player. Management experience although not essential, would be an advantage.

Our client is seeking a friendly and professional RVN to join their busy small animal practice. You will be friendly,  down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will be confident in all areas of general nursing. You will be a good team player and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. The role will include such duties as carrying out admission appointments, surgery follow ups and 2nd vaccination appointments. Calculate and administer medications and keep accurate records, and assist the Vets during surgical procedures and anaesthesia monitoring.

 

The practice is close to Belfast city, whilst having a coastal location is also newclose to the sea.

 

This is a full or part time position – 20-40 hours per week

Weekends on a rota basis.

Our client is seeking a Vet to join their friendly small animal practice based in Glasnevin. You will have experience in a small animal veterinary hospital environment, have a good attitude and excellent client facing skills. You should have excellent knowledge of all aspects of small animal veterinary surgery and medicine but equally be prepared to converse with your colleagues and discuss challenging cases. A specialised interest in any specific area of veterinary medicine may be advantageous such as ophthalmology, cardiology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, dentistry etc.

 

The practice is part of 3 veterinary hospitals and one veterinary. All are equipped to high standard and only a very small amount of veterinary work is referred to specialised centres.
