Our client is looking for an additional RVN to join their friendly team based in Liverpool. You will be reporting to the Head Nurse, engaging with vets, nurses and receptionists. As part of the nursing team you will be capable of performing surgical, radiographic, dental, laboratory, pharmacy, anaesthetic and in-patient care and procedures under the direction of the Clinical Director or a Veterinary Surgeon. You will oversee student nurse or auxiliary nurse training as directed by the Head Nurse or Clinical Director. You will also be required to develop and deliver nurse clinics and puppy parties. Administration and financial duties are required as is overseeing student nurse or auxiliary nurse training as directed by the Head Nurse or Clinical Director.

Lead Veterinary Surgeon

Our client has a vacancy for an experienced Head/Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy practice located on the outskirts of Liverpool.

The bright, purpose built practice is fully air-conditioned and was opened in March 2011 offering a varied and interesting workload for small animals. The practice is fully equipped and includes Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, ECG , Multiparameter, In-house Lab and Thermocautery.

You will have the clinical freedom to work up your own cases from start to finish, as well as supporting the Practice Partner with the management of the clinical team which will include 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Nurses, 1 Student Nurse and Veterinary Care Assistants.

40 hours a week

1:3 weekends

No OOH’s

Our client is looking for an experienced Vet to join their two branch 100% small animal practice located on the Wirral peninsula. There will be some sole charge with this role, therefore this will not suit a new graduate. You will be joining a team of five part time vets and one full time vet. Two qualified RVNs and two second year SVNs, five receptionists/VCAs and a Practice Manager. (Surgical caseload was enough to study for Cert AVP SAS).

The practice is situated within easy driving distance of Liverpool, Chester and North Wales.

No out of hours

This full-time role is over a four-day week (9am -7pm) 38 hours, with one in four weekends.

1in 4 Saturdays 9-5, Sunday 10-1.

No OOHs.

Salary will be commensurate with experience – up to 45K base salary with weekend work paid additionally to that.

We are looking for someone who:
