Hope Pastures

Hope
Pastures

Hope Pastures rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes horses, ponies and donkeys. They also provide the opportunity for people to meet the animals and learn about them and how to look after them. Hope Pastures uses your donations to prevent suffering and to improve lives.  Having opened our doors in 1974 we have helped countless horses and donkeys.

VetFinders have decided to partner with Hope Pastures after our successful visit. Their dedication, compassion and energy for these animals is truly inspiring.

Update on Freya

Freya is doing really well in her new foster home – she is being a companion pony to an older chap and is thriving in her new environment.

Teddy

Teddy is a very small 8hh Shetland stallion pony who came to us as his elderly disabled owner could no longer care for him. He has been kept in an area at the bottom of the garden for ten years Teddy was quite lonely but has now been gelded and is recovering well.   Being an older stallion and having lived apart from other ponies as a consequence, it’s important that he is castrated so that he can interact with others in the future, so the little fella is booked in to have this important operation. We are positive that it all goes well and Teddy makes a good recovery- please wish him well.

From Our Friends

“Hope Pastures would like to say a big thank you to Gemma Crowley and the team at VetFinders for this kind donation. This will go towards the rehabilitation and on going care of Teddy until he finds his new home “
