We have over 40 years of recruitment experience within our team and work with large corporates, animal hospitals, charities and individual practices. We work closely with our clients and candidates to carefully match both party’s requirements.

Recruitment with a
Mission at its heart

VetFinders is a recruitment business with a social mission at its heart. We are more than a recruitment business whose only aim is to make a profit, this isn’t us! We aim to make a profit of course we do but donate a minimum 25% of all our profits back to animal/children’s charities. Some agencies might give to charity as a token gesture, but we give a minimum of 25% away making it a core element of our business. We will be totally transparent on this and be audited annually to prove this isn’t some cheap sales pitch!

The best part of this is we aren’t going to just give money to charity and forgot about it we are going to work closely with these charities and see where the money goes. We will fund certain projects of theirs, work on their front line and make sure all donations are used for the care of animals/children.

Meet the
Team

Chris Worthington

Managing Director

I have been in recruitment for the last 15 years setting up an Engineering and Industrial agency in 2004 and building it to a significant business before selling it last year. A very customer service orientated individual I felt there was a lot we could do to improve the offering most local businesses were receiving from their current agency.

Qualtech was known for ‘going above and beyond’ the service levels expected working with clients our competitors were envious of. Due to our reputation we never lost business due to poor service, we had clients stay with us from 2004 which is unheard of in Industrial recruitment. I am bringing the exact the same philosophy to Vet Finders with a twist, I have always wanted to give back and help others so we will give 25% of all our profits to 4 nominated animal charities we will be working closely with. Every time somebody is placed the candidate and client will see exactly where the money has gone to help.

I feel we are a more than another recruitment agency, we are a business with a mission and purpose at its heart to help and give back. Our success will be measured by the amount we give back not by the profits we make.

Martin Wilson

Recruitment Consultant

After completing my 22 years Army Colour Service, I was offered a 3 years’ service extension in Army Recruitment. During this time, I gained the Certificate in Recruitment Practice. I have worked in the Health and Industrial sectors but enjoy working dealing with the Veterinary Industry the most.

My focus is providing the best service possible for both candidates and clients. Its important that everyone feels that they can add a significant value to any practice. I mainly work with Vets and Nurse but will turn my hand to recruiting staff for any part of a practice.

After coming on board at VetFinders, I feel that this is more than your normal agency. The mission is simple, what we place, we will give something back. By doing this candidates & clients can see we truly have the animals in our hearts. The success of the business will be measured by the amount we give, not by what we make.

Suzy Buttress

Administrator

After graduating in Graphic Design I have spent the last 20+ years working in the graphics/marketing industry. The last 7 years I spent working for a large corporate retailer specialising in home brand packaging.

Looking for a bit of a change – six months ago I became a fundraiser/marketeer for an equine charity and also joined Vetfinders. I am passionate about everything I do and strive to achieve excellent customer service.

Lucy Emberton-Leveson

Recruitment Consultant

After Graduating in 2005, from Liverpool John Moores University, I started working in the television industry, then into Advertising Sales before finally finding my calling – my first role in recruitment. I never dreamed of a job in recruitment but fell head over heels for the job and a career has blossomed ever since.

Although new to the veterinary industry, I come with 13 years of multi sector recruitment experience, from shop floor to management level recruitment. A seasoned recruiter with a passion for ensuring people find their perfect role, whilst ensuring client satisfaction is matched and delivered.

My focus has and always will be the open and honest communication I have with candidates and clients alike. The important thing is listening to what people want, matching that perfectly and creating an opportunity to make people feel positive and happy about the next step in their career.

I joined VetFinders, as they are a recruitment agency with a difference, we will give 25% of all our profits to 4 nominated animal charities we will be working closely with. The mission is simple, the more people we place, the more money we will give to animal charities, a worthy cause that is close to our hearts.

What our
Clients Say

We were referred to VetFinders through a mutual friend who had used Vetfinders before.  We weren’t disappointed, they practice what they preach.
